Now more than ever, your donation is needed!
2020 has been a year filled with challenges due to COVID-19. From the suspension of programming in mid-March to the start of our re-opening in July, RTT’s staff has ensured the care of our herd and connections to our clients who have been further isolated by the pandemic. Early on in the COVID-19 pandemic, we knew we were going to have to be creative in order to continue our mission. As a high touch, hands on organization, we needed to learn how to engage our clients and volunteers in new ways. In addition to Zoom and Groom, Zooming with Schools, Online/Video Education and Curbside Visits we began limited number of lessons in July.
As we look ahead to the next 12 months, we know that COVID will continue to impact RTT’s programs and budget. The cost of providing high quality, safe and affordable services for our clients has increased, but all of our clients, now more than ever, need our services. RTT is committed to providing in-person services for those who can be safely served at the farm, along with ongoing outreach and virtual services for those who are not yet able to return.
