I am "Riding It Forward" for people with disabilities!

I love my special time with horses and that is why I am "Riding It Forward" for Riding To The Top Therapeutic Riding Center (RTT).

This May, I am joining others students at It Takes Two Farm to raise awareness and funds for Riding To The Top’s equine assisted services. Riding To the Top serves people ages 3-80+ with a wide variety of disabilities and challenges and is right here in Windham. Crystal, the owner of ITTF, was a volunteer and later a teacher for Riding To The Top "many, many years ago"! That is where she learned "first-hand the wonderful memories that are being made there".

I am seeking donations for every minute I spend riding during the month of May.

On average I ride for 240 minutes a month, It would be amazing if people would pitch in to help me raise money to the ride to rescue program. I have been riding since I was 3 years old. I have always loved animals but horses had always interested me and ever since I started riding again at It Takes Two Farm it has rocked my world. This fundraiser is a great way for you to get involved with a great cause.

Each rider will set a riding goal and a fundraising goal. The staff of It Takes Two Farm will keep a log book to track hours. All funds raised will go directly to help people with disabilities take lessons at Riding To The Top. Many of them could not afford to ride without the support of those who donate and help RTT. And, as you are aware, horses take a lot of care to keep them happy and healthy. At RTT, it costs approximately $5,000 a year per horse and currently there are 14 horses in their herd.
